Welcome to Fertility and Total Health Acupuncture

My mission is to provide Whole Body Total Health Care to help you heal your body as well as your mind. I provide high quality acupuncture, nutritional counseling and when necessary Chinese herbal formulas  to individuals, couples and families. While the primary focus of my practice is fertility and other gynecological conditions, I also specialize in the treatment of Post Concussion Syndrome in children, adolescents and adults and treat many other physical and mental health issues including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic and acute pain from injuries or overuse, migraine headaches, IBS, Bells Palsy, and more.

Jon’s Treatment Philosophy

I treat fertility patients with a combination of Traditional Oriental Medicine, relaxation techniques, guided imagery and a blend of Eastern and Western nutritional recommendations to enhance reproductive function and overall good health. I believe Acupuncture treatments by a highly trained specialist, used as an adjunct to state of the art biomedical fertility care can provide reinforcement to realizing a full term pregnancy. Since starting my practice in 2003, I have consistently averaged between a 60% – 70% successful Clinical Pregnancy rate for IVF patients who combined acupuncture with their IVF treatment cycle. For IUI cycles I have a 33% success rate. Acupuncture is a perfect compliment to Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) which includes Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) and In-vitro Fertilization (IVF). I work very closely with most of the biggest Fertility Centers in Southern New Jersey and I perform “before” and “after” acupuncture treatments on-site on the day of embryo transfer 7 days a week, 355 days per year in both Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia area Fertility Clinics.

Here’s what Dr. Peter G. Van Deerlin has to say about my services:

For over 10 years now our fertility center has been referring our patients to learn more about traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture from Jon Posner. Jon was an early pioneer in South Jersey to specialize in female fertility matters. He knows well what patients are experiencing when they go through in vitro fertilization procedures. At least 3 randomized trials have pointed to higher pregnancy rates when acupuncture is performed immediately before and after the transfer of an embryo to the uterus. Jon comes to our center in Marlton to perform the acupuncture in a timely manner so the patient doesn’t need to do extra traveling on the day of embryo transfer. I frequently hear from our patients that they appreciate Jon’s abundant one-on-one communication regarding their health questions and specifically about improving their fertility. I whole-heartedly recommend Jon to women trying to build their family.

South Jersey Fertility Center, Marlton, N.J.

My goal is to provide current and future patients a place to get valuable information and help for both physical and emotional difficulties while providing techniques and support that will help keep you balanced and be of value to you through all life’s stressful situations, from Infertility to Menopause.
